Motion graphics are more commonly known by the names video, movies or animation. They are produced in a variety of different forms and are made to achieve different results.
The one thing that they all have in common is to show a series of images at several frames per second and they’re all designed to communicate a message (or series of messages). Videos and movies normally show content between 24 frames a second and 48 frames per second but sometimes illustrated animations show content at a slower rate to reduce the amount of work required to produce the illustrations (or to reduce the bandwidth required to load them when hosted online).
A picture paints a thousand words
Well if that’s true then motion graphics will tell a thousand pictures.
If you have an important message or series of ideas you wish to convey, then the most engaging of formats (currently) available to marketers would be your best choice. In 2017, nearly 70% of all traffic online was consumed through the medium of motion graphics.
And, with a significant proportion of your audience who choose video and animation as a preferable form of communication, it is imperative that marketing teams take this engaging format more seriously.
It is widely understood that on average, 4 out of 5 users will choose to watch a video summary rather than read one, so with knowledge like this how can you not afford to produce your own?
