We are delighted to welcome our new Digital Marketing Executive, Alex, to the team!
As Digital Marketing Executive, Alex will be responsible for a wide range of marketing services for our clients, including copywriting, creating email campaigns and supporting the creation of flat and motion graphics for web and social media.
What made you want to join Serenity Digital?
When I attended my first interview, Pete and Stuart spoke so passionately about the company and the individuals within the team; it seems like somewhere I can fit in, contribute and learn a great deal as well.
Tell us three fun facts about yourself.
- I once had a job which required me to cold call people selling a service which promised to prevent cold calls.
- I can tell the difference between butter and I Can’t Believe It’s Not Butter.
- I have an incredibly low threshold for what constitutes a “fun fact” and still struggle to think of anything interesting about myself.
What experience do you have in digital marketing?
Digital Marketing made up a couple of modules in my university degree and then has been at least part of every job I’ve had since graduating. It’s always been the part that I have enjoyed the most, along with building relationships with clients, so I’m looking forward to focusing on those things here.
If you could only take one item to a desert island for a month, what would it be and why?
A copy of “1000 things to do whilst stranded on a Desert Island” - the book, not the DVD.
The team at Serenity love to travel, what is your favourite holiday destination and why?
I was lucky enough to take my partner and our daughter to Paris a few years ago. I loved showing off the grasp of French that earned me a C at GCSE and seeing the girls’ faces light up at the Eiffel Tower, Disneyland etc. I also got a great deal on a hotel because our room overlooked a cemetery - I didn’t realise it when I booked it but the price made sense when I saw the view!
What skills and expertise can you offer our Serenity Digital clients?
I have a fair bit of experience when it comes to writing content - blogs, web pages, social posts, emails, you name it. With a broad experience in a variety of marketing disciplines, I will be keen to add value in other areas too!
What are you most looking forward to in your new role?
I am looking forward to continuous learning and development - being part of such a knowledgeable and talented team is sure to push me to grow.
