Let's go all-in on selling sustainability

Ikea seem to be leading the world stage on implementing sustainable techniques, both from an environmental and people persective.

Below are some of the ways they are improving the conditions we all live in:

  • 100% commitment to energy saving light bulbs
  • An aim for 100% commitment to sustainable cotton producers (currently at 80%)
  • 100% commitment to quality forestry resources
  • 100% energy production for it's factories and locations (own 16 windfarms and have solar plants at many locations)
  • An aim for 50|50 gender split in managerial positions
    (currently 53/47 split in favour of men)
  • Supply chain review to ensure there are no locations where child labour is enforced
