United Nations International day of happiness - make someone smile!

Celebrating the United Nations International Day of Happiness

It appears that contrary to some opinions the world is becoming a better place - everywhere I turn I read stories of incredibly triumph, positivity and optimism.

From inspirational talks on Ted.com (please watch Bono and Elon Musk to name but a few), to reading only good news stories on Positive News and Eduzine.org, new entreprenuership throughout the UK and wider world and we even experienced crowds of supports braving the pouring rain on Sunday for the Reading Half Marathon - Thank you all - my knees needed your support!

On a day likely to bring so much cynicism and negativity due to that horrible red briefcase the Chancellor of the Exchequor carries, take a quick visit to Day of Happiness and spread the word! It’s the United Nations International day of happiness - make someone smile!

At Liverpool Street Station this morning, positive messages will be held aloft in an attempt to make commuters feel happy about themselves.

We’ve updated our website with a token cheer to hopefully raise a few smiles - so if you haven’t been - check it out now!

And finally, if you’ve not noticed any change in attitudes, please visit one of the links above! Take some inspiration and share the happiness!
