A new ecommerce site fit for purpose as this exciting new brand expands across the UK and aspires for global recognition.

Baggers Originals provide fun, fashionable and practical children’s wear. Baggers initially launched in 1989 when Managing Director Angela Mclean came up with the idea as an answer to keep her kids dry, but store the clothing in a simple attached bag/pocket. With a turnover of almost £2M, the company were very successful, however long cash terms led to Baggers not being able to keep up with demand and unfortunately resulted in them going out of business. Fast forward 2 decades, and Baggers Originals are launching a fresh new brand and new products with a new team of inspiring entrepreneurs (including Managing Director Angela Mclean).

We first saw the Baggers Originals team on BBC3’s documentary “Be your own Boss” in Autumn 2012. The team had entered the competition to raise investment from Richard Reed, Co-founder of Innocent Drinks. Having been impressed with the team and how they handled themselves with host and self confessed entrepreneur Reed, we wanted to get in touch as this team of entrepreneurs looked like a great bunch to work with.

We approached the Baggers Originals team with some new exciting visuals and ideas for the range of products they have on offer. Their existing website was well established but lacking the impact that the brand, the team and their products have. Baggers Originals quoted, "We were so impressed with the initiative of Serenity Digital when they contacted us. Their proposal was extensive and exciting. They had captured and reflected our brand perfectly; we knew instantly that we’d make a great team and we are very much looking forward to the new website".

Over the next few months we’ll be implementing a brand new design for the website, a restructure of the content to ensure it’s as simple to navigate and use as possible, responsive layouts for a wide range of devices, search engine optimisation and a new ecommerce engine to manage their stock and sales.

We’re really happy to be working with Baggers Originals and are confident that the site launch will improve their position in their industry and increase sales of the product range.
